Denise Bofill

MAppSc, Psychology of Coaching (USyd), MBA (AGSM), PGrad Dip Mgmt (MBS)

Before changing careers to become a full time Executive Coach and Leadership Development Consultant, Denise was a Senior Executive at two of Australia’s top 15 ASX listed firms, responsible for running several large businesses. Denise has also worked at a General Management level for over fifteen years and held several board positions during that time - setting strategy for businesses as well as managing various national and international mergers and acquisitions and Initial Public Offerings for entrepreneurial firms.  Denise is passionate about leadership development and her enthusiasm is contagious.  Her knowledge of business helps her to create leadership and people management solutions that will work effectively within the constraints of commercial realities. 

Denise is also a skilled Executive Coach having over eight years experience in coaching and mentoring leaders. Her personal experience as a Senior Executive combined with her extensive training in the Psychology of Coaching, allows her to bring a unique perspective to the coaching engagement. Through this shared understanding of the business issues facing her clients, she is able to help them gain deep insights into their own motives and behaviour and help them set goals that will allow them to achieve the business and personal success they desire. 

As a practitioner and researcher Denise works hard to translate the latest evidence and theories in leadership into practical and effective strategic and practical solutions for businesses. 

Qualifications

Denise has a MAppSc Psychology of Coaching (USyd) and is a previous committee member of the University of Sydney’s Coaching and Mentoring Association (USCMA). 

Other qualifications include MBA (exec) AGSM, a PGradDip Mgmt (MBS), and she is an accredited provider of Hogan Assessments on personality traits and derailers, business reasoning and motivation.  

Denise is one of the few people in Australia qualified to conduct and score Kegan’s Subject Object Interview, which measures an individual’s progress along the adult development curve, and through utilizing this knowledge, Denise is able to help executives think more strategically and manage and understand complexity more effectively.

Denise’s expertise and experience includes Executive Coaching, Mentoring, Creation of strategically aligned Leadership Development and General Management Programs, Group Facilitation of strategy sessions and Training, Assisting Leader’s in understanding complexity and thinking strategically, Succession Planning and Talent Management Programs, Women in Leadership, Stress Management Programs and Senior Leadership Team Development Programs.
